Here are some paper and card macquettes.

Trying to come up with a design.

Here I have taken some of the elements that I liked from the package and just messed around with them to see what I could come up with.

Starting Point

I chose a package that was designed for a travel alarm clock. This is a transparent plastic object that when opened out revealed many different shapes and sections. 

Packaging Project

This project is based on packaging and how it accommodates an object.  The objective is to look at the function of the package rather than how it is styled and to come up with a new design based on the qualities that I was drawn to in the design.
